Now More Than Ever, We Need You!

Become active as a volunteer
to show your support for TNR!

HOTFF volunteers prepare traps before a morning "mass trap."

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
& TRAP TEAM WORKSHOP
To Be Announced!

Training materials provided at no-charge.

Our Trap Team volunteers
donate 1 morning a week
to trap cats for TNR at the homes of senior citizens,
mass traps for locations with large colonies,
or colonies in the 76710 grant area.

HOTFF volunteers make Winter Feral Cat Shelters
for TNR cats of senior citizens & large colonies.

*TRAP TEAM—Use humane traps to help us trap feral cats at designated colonies on specific day & time.
*TRANSPORT / RETURN—If you have an SUV or other type of enclosed back seat (no trucks or trunks, please), then help us transport cats to and from the ABC Clinic. Training workshop is required and you must be at least 18 years of age.
*CAREGIVER/COLONY MONITOR—Responsible for providing food, fresh water, shelter and keeping the feeding stations clean of debris and excess food. We need caregivers for colonies all over the city, so ask us if one is near your home or office. Occasionally, we get donated cat food to help caregivers in our TNR Program. Training workshop is required and you must be at least 18 years of age. This also qualifies you for our "By Invitation Only" monthly Caregiver Mixers.

PUBLIC EVENTS—Do you enjoy talking to people one-on-one? We need volunteers to help raise awareness within our community. Includes handing out TNR brochures at Heart of Texas Feral Friends informaion booths or Waco Humane Society events!
DOOR HANGING CAMPAIGNS—Join us on Saturday mornings to put brochures on door knobs in the grant-area neighborhoods to increase awareness about TNR.
FUNDRAISERS—Help out at fundraisers with set-up and breakdown, hosting and information.
CAREGIVER MIXER COORDINATOR—It's easy to help coordinate a Caregiver Mixer! Just find a location that holds a large group, set a date & time, and we're ready for a fun Caregiver Mixer!
TRAINING TEACHERS—Are you  good in front of a group? Help us teach Feral Cat classes to the public.
DONATIONS—Help us raise donations for Trap-Neuter-Return at your work or in your neighborhood. Your donations can be applied to our General TNR Fund to help everyone, or it can be designated at one of our registered TNR Colonies. Ask us for details!!

NOT 18 YEARS OLD YET? You can still help HOTFF!
1. Help with our FIX OUR FERALS door-hanging campaigns.
2. Do a school project or Scout project on Trap-Neuter-Return! You can talk to a Trap Team volunteer, and we've got pictures you can use!
3. Hold a fundraiser (bake sale, rock sale, etc) and donate it to TNR to help the kitties!
4. Write a poem or short story about what you think it means to be a TNR Cat... we just might post it!
5. Tell all your friends to be sure their pets are fixed! A girl cat would get "spayed" (pronounced like "spade") and a boy cat would get neutered.
